UAL Level 2, Creative Media The  You tube Documentary film Project Press release format: Please use  this  as a guide. Final copy: Project Title:  Sunday league football    The Idea: The idea of my documentary is to give people an insight of what sunday leagues is really about as different many people misunderstand it just because it is not professional football              Research for your article:    I take aspiration to this Sunday League documentary mainly because it shows the harshness of Sunday league  for example at 13:47 a fight begins between two players from opposing teams. the reason I use this as an example is because I feel as if it adds to the excitement of Sunday League and also makes the atmosphere more enjoyable to be a part of this shows that Sunday League is more than just lower level.      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z...

6 types of documentaries

Poetic Poetic documentaries were first seen in the 1920s, they are very much what they sound like. They focus on experiences, images and showing the audience the world through a different set of eyes. It’s abstract and loose with narrative, the poetic sub-genre can be very unconventional and experimental in the form and content. Realistically the main idea for a poetic documentary is to be able to create a feeling rather than a truth  Expository Expository documentaries are most likely closest to what some people consider a “documentary”. It has a sharp contrast to a poetic documentary. The aim of a expository documentary is to either inform or persuade the audience often through omnipresent “Voice of God” narration over footage devoid of ambiguous or poetic rhetoric. This style includes the familiar television style  Observational An observational documentary is exactly what it sounds like. The main focus of an observational documentary is to simply observe the world a...

documentary plan for Friday

In my doc today and I am going to go through the footage I have and I am going to record a bit more for my doc so it makes it easier for me as I won't be able to shoot certain parts of my piece. I will also start the editing process because if I begin editing now with the clips I already have then after I can just add in the clips of my football team and the clips of training that I will get. what I also need to do is to collect the GoPro from springboard so I can get clips from training and matches before the end of next week and begin to edit them and finish them up.

youtube documantary

Idea: My documentary will be based on Sunday league football and it will be more about my football team that I play for so I'm going to be showing the insides and the behind the scenes of amateur football for example the training and the talks in the changing rooms but I will also show snippets of some games and I will attempt to get interviews from the manager and some of the players.  I want to record the games because it will show the different type of atmosphere and I will get a clip from a semi pro and a pro football game and compare the 3 clips . I also want to get the training clips because the training styles are a lot different to what you see the professional teams do Research: Sunday league football is a term used in England, Scotland, Wale and Ireland to describe T he association football leagues which play on Sunday, as opposed to the more usual Saturday. These leagues tend to be lower standard amateur competitions, whose players have less time to devote to fo...

BBC Report

Level 2 Creative Media. Report template: BBC Story The following is the report template for your BBC project: Project title: Inside The World Of Football  The idea: My BBC article is about the ups and downs of football but mainly racism in football. I picked racism in football because I feel like it is an ongoing thing in football and I felt like it needs to be stopped so I'm really doing to make people aware of it and people who don't watch the sport also aware of the ongoing issue  The research you undertook: the research I had done was that I searched up some articles about the racism in football and how it is sometimes overshadowed. I used this for the main idea for my piece because I wanted to make people more aware about the consequence of football and racism. work for Friday's lesson

Image
For today's work the plan is to get a lower third of either a Sky Sports, BT Sports or a BBC Sports. The way I did this was I went on google to find an image from sky spots news with the lower third and the side bar so the interview seems like it has been broadcast to live television. I had imported the image to Photoshop so I can make it more to my liking because there was sky sports pundits in the image so I had to take them out of the image so once I start to edit my video I will put video in where the chequered open space is when I get onto premier pro. what I'm also going to do today is start filming my interviews with the 3 people and I will also begin the editing process for my interview and I will be using the studio for my interviews This was the image I had used for my image for the lower third and the sidebar i had cropped them out so it was more personalised

Studio work

Image
For the studio work we had to set up the camera and the lights. There were three lights we had used. The key list which is the light next to the camera and is pointing right at the actors. the fill light which is at the sideband is the fill in the shadows of the actors and give it a two dimensional feel.                          then there is the back light which would've gone in the back corner and point to the back of the actors so it makes it three dimensional the lights are called REDHEAD  which is the medium light and BLONDE  which is the big light For my shoot I will have the key light only facing the person I will be interviewing so it seems more like a interview but it won't be so close so I don't basically blind the person

BBC News

Headline My headline for my BBC News project is 'Ups and Downs of football' The reason i have this is because it shows the ups and downs of a footballers life and a football fans life and show how it can be affected. For example if a team team wins a big game then it makes the players more happier but the opposition team less happy and its the same with the fans if they see their team play badly and they lose it could result in unhappy times for them sometimes they could even end up in tears but that's football. I am a football fan and I have been in those situations of the fans and the players and honestly to some people who dont like football they see it as just a game but to those die hard fans and those hard working players the game is much more than a game but a way of life.

photo shop

This was my very first time using photo shop and it was a good experience. the first thing we had to do was get use to some of the tools. Then we had to download some fruits my choice of fruit was a watermelon because it is a colourful fruit because it has the bright red and green.

Also I had turned off the microphone so it is only powered by the camera.

induction project

Image
Induction project The topic for the short film project was an object, we came up with the idea that a fuggler goes around and eats and licks random stuff. The film then ends with the monster licking Tony. On our second day we started shooting, we used a variety of shots and sequences such as close ups, wide angles pan sequences. Our director (Ted) instructed Tony on how to act and arranged his positioning on camera. Later that day we reviewed our footage and decided what else we could add or still needed to shoot. We used a tri pod (legs) to get many stable shots of the main character, then our cameramen (Luke and Ainslie) got many mid shots and shot the same scene in a variety of angles. The settings for inside that were used were: ND filter on 0, and Auto White Balance. We redid the White Balance for outside, and put the ND filter on full, to account for the increased exposure. On the next day we did reshoots and started the editing process later on in th...
